policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man was seriously injured when he was punched repeatedly after getting into an argument with another man in San Francisco’s Mission District early Sunday morning, police said.

The attack was reported at 2:19 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Mission Street.

During the argument, the suspect punched the 23-year-old victim, knocking him down, according to police. The attacker then punched the victim in the head several more times, then got into a vehicle driven by another suspect and fled.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening.

The two suspects, both described as men between 25 and 30 years old, had not been found as of this afternoon, police said.
