shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was grazed in the neck by a bullet that was fired at him while he was collecting recyclables in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 12:05 a.m. near the intersection of West Point and Middle Point roads.

The 49-year-old victim was shot from an unknown direction and then driven by a friend to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injury, which is not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in the case as of this morning.
