sfpd_gunpoint.jpgAn elderly man was robbed at gunpoint at San Francisco Municipal Railway’s Powell Street station on Saturday morning, police said.

Police said the 86-year-old man was approached from behind around 11:30 a.m. by someone who demanded money.

The suspect went through the victim’s backpack and took a coin purse, cash, credit cards and an ID, then fled, police said. He had not been found as of this morning.

The elderly man was not injured in the robbery.
