The Komen 3-Day Walk will start with a camping event at the San Francisco Gaelic Athletic Field on Treasure Island, followed by a three-day walk beginning on Friday. The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday.

From 6 a.m., Thursday until midnight, Sunday:
Avenues “H” and “I” between 11th and 13th streets on Treasure Island.

From 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday:
Lower Great Highway between Santiago and Taraval streets

From 5 to 6 p.m., Sunday:
Bay Street between Laguna and Fillmore streets
Buchanan Street between Bay Street and Marina Boulevard

The following Muni routes will be affected:

28 19 Avenue

Transbay Terminal Construction
From 8 p.m., Friday through 5 a.m., Monday, construction at the Transbay Terminal will require the closure of Beale Street between Mission and Howard streets.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

· 38 Geary
· 38L Geary Limited
· 71 Haight-Noriega

Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival
The Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

The following street closures will be required from 12 a.m., Saturday to 8 p.m., Sunday:

· Grant Avenue from California Street to Broadway
· Washington Street from Wentworth Street to Stockton Street
· Commercial Street from Kearny Street to Grant Avenue
· Pacific Avenue from Kearny Street to Stockton Street
· Waverly Place from Washington Street to Clay Street
· Intersections: Pacific and Grant, Washington and Grant, Waverly and Washington, Ross and Washington, Wentworth and Washington, Becket and Pacific

The following Muni routes will be affected:

12 Folsom-Pacific

Festa Coloniale Italiana
On Saturday the Festa Coloniale Italiana will take place in North Beach between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Stockton Street between Union and Filbert streets will be closed from 6 a.m. to midnight, Saturday.

The 39-Coit Muni route will be affected.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival
The 16th annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

Beach Street between Larkin and Polk streets will be closed from 12 a.m., Saturday to midnight, Sunday.

The 19 Polk Muni route will be affected.

Residential Construction
On Saturday residential construction will require the closure of Whitney Young Circle between Hudson and Newcomb avenues from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 44 O’Shaughnessy Muni route will be affected.

San Francisco 911 Memorial Stair Climb
On Sunday the San Francisco 911 Memorial Stair Climb will take place downtown.

Washington Street between Sansome and Montgomery streets will be closed between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.

No Muni service will be affected.

Sunday Streets Western Addition
The seventh of nine Sunday Streets events will be held this Sunday in the Western Addition, North Panhandle, Fillmore and Japantown neighborhoods. This event covers a 2.5-mile route that connects the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park, with the Farmer’s Market on Grove Street, Kimball Playground on O’Farrell, Peace Plaza in Japantown and the Lower Fillmore merchant corridor. The route will be available for recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to all participants.

The headquarters for the event will be located at the Panhandle on Fell Street between Central Avenue and Baker Street, where participants can get details about activities along the event route as well as free bike rentals.

The following street closures will be required from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

· Fillmore Street between Fulton Street and Geary Boulevard
· Fulton Street between Fillmore and Baker streets
· Baker Street between McAllister and Grove streets
· Grove Street between Broderick Street and Central Avenue
· Central Avenue between Grove and Fell streets
· O’Farrell Street between Fillmore and Steiner streets
· Intersections: Central Avenue, Lyon and Baker streets at Grove Street; Baker, Broderick, Scott, Pierce and Filmore streets at Fulton Street; Golden Gate Avenue, Ellis and O’Farrell streets @ Fillmore Street

Cross Traffic will be allowed on Eddy, Turk and McAllister streets at Fillmore Street as well as on Steiner and Divisadero streets at Fulton Street

Traffic will be controlled by Parking Control Officers and San Francisco police officers.

· 6 Parnassus
· 21 Hayes
· 22 Fillmore
· 24 Divisadero
· 31 Balboa
· 33 Stanyan
· 38 Geary
· 71 Haight-Noriega

49ers Football Game
The San Francisco 49ers will host their first home game of the regular season on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks starting at 1:15 p.m. at Candlestick Park.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game. Fans attending the games are encouraged to take public transportation. For more information, go to www.sfmta.com/football.

Muni offers several ways to get to Candlestick Park from locations throughout San Francisco. There are four Muni Express routes and two Shuttles.

The Muni Express route is Special Event Fare Service
Adult fare: $12 roundtrip
Youth/Senior/Disabled fare: $10 roundtrip
Muni monthly pass, Passport or CityPass Special Event Add-on fare: $8 roundtrip (adult and discount pass holders)

The Candlestick Shuttles are regular fare service, $2 adult per trip and $.75 for youth/senior/disabled per trip.

In order for Clipper customers with a monthly pass to obtain the add-on fare discount, at least $8 in cash value must be loaded to their Clipper cards prior to boarding the special event Muni service.

Customers can load their cards online at www.clippercard.com (please allow at least five days for processing), or at one of the participating Clipper vendors or ticket vending machines in a Muni Metro station.

For service to and from the game, T Third customers should transfer at the Gilman/Paul station to the 87 Candlestick Shuttle, which operates directly between the station and Candlestick Park.

On Sunday, Muni customers may purchase their fare in advance. SFMTA staff will sell Muni fares from 9:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the following locations:

· Balboa Park BART Station
· Sutter Street/Sansome Street

Pre-game Service:
· 75X Candlestick Express – from Balboa Park BART
· 77X Candlestick Express – from California and Van Ness
· 78X Candlestick Express – from California and Funston
· 79X Candlestick Express – from Sutter and Sansome
· 86 Candlestick Shuttle – from Bacon and San Bruno
· 87 Candlestick Shuttle – from Third Street and Gillman, T Third Station

Post-game Service:
· 75X Candlestick Express – to Balboa Park BART
· 77X Candlestick Express – to Van Ness and North Point
· 78X Candlestick Express – to California and Funston
· 79X Candlestick Express – to Kearny and Sutter
· 86 Candlestick Shuttle – to Bacon and San Bruno
· 87 Candlestick Shuttle – to Third Street and Gillman, T Third Station

San Francisco Giants Baseball Game
On Sunday the San Francisco Giants will host the last games with the LA Dodgers at AT&T Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.

Heavy traffic is expected both before and after the games. Game attendees and those traveling in the area are encouraged to take public transit.
