sfpd_squad.jpgA shoe store at the Lakeshore Plaza Shopping Center on San Francisco’s Sloat Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

The robbery was reported at about 8:25 p.m. at a business in the 1500 block of Sloat Boulevard, police said.

An employee at a nearby business said the robbery occurred at the Payless ShoeSource at 1563 Sloat Blvd.

According to police, a man in his early 20s entered the business and brandished a handgun at two people in the store.

The suspect demanded money, and the victims, a 45-year-old man and 18-year-old woman, handed over cash, police said.

The suspect fled and had not been found as of this morning. No one was injured in the robbery.
