sfpd_cityhall.jpgPolice have identified the woman suspected of stabbing a man in San Francisco’s Mission District on Wednesday night as 48-year-old Anita Bell, of San Francisco.

The stabbing was reported in the 500 block of South Van Ness Avenue at 8:50 p.m.

The victim, a 51-year-old man, was stabbed in the chest and cut on his shoulder. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, police said.
