Six San Francisco motorcycle officers will patrol the streets around Candlestick Park during and after Sunday’s football game.
The patrols, targeting careless and impaired drivers, will begin at halftime during the San Francisco 49ers game against the Seattle Seahawks, and continue until the parking lots and stadium are empty.
The patrols are funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
