sffd_firefighters.jpgA structure fire at an abandoned factory was quickly doused by San Francisco firefighters Saturday, a fire dispatcher said.

The 1-alarm fire was reported at 11:25 p.m. near the corner of Third Street and Mariposa Street. Firefighters had the fire under control by 11:36 p.m.

Firefighters do not yet know how the fire in the concrete factory was started.
