sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgA woman was arrested after stabbing a man in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The stabbing was reported at 3:32 p.m. in the 300 block of Ellis Street.

The victim, a 60-year-old man, was arguing with the 38-year-old woman when she took out a knife and stabbed him in the chest, according to police.

The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life threatening, police said.

The suspect ran away following the stabbing but was subsequently arrested. Her name was not immediately available.
