On Saturday the 2011 Herbalife World Football Challenge will take place at AT&T Park. The Manchester City vs. Club America game will start at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. An attendance of 15,000 to 20,000 participants is anticipated.

Motorists can expect congestion and traffic delays around the event area between 3 and 9 p.m. Soccer fans are encouraged to take public transportation to the game and motorists should allow extra travel time.

Beginning at 2 p.m., additional Muni Metro service will be provided to supplement the existing T Third service to the ballpark. SFMTA Parking Control Officers (PCOs) will be at key locations around AT&T Park to facilitate pedestrians, transit vehicles and other traffic.

The annual AIDS Walk will take place on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Golden Gate Park.

The route will be entirely within the park and take participants from Sharon Meadow, west on Kennedy Drive, south on Transverse Drive, west on Martin Luther King Drive, east on Kennedy Drive and back to Sharon Meadow.

The north-south park entrances will be closed, except Park Presidio Boulevard and Crossover Drive. Closures for the AIDS Walk are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

An estimate of 15,000 participants is anticipated to attend this event. Extra service on the N Judah line will be provided between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The 44 O’Shaughnessy Muni route will be affected.

Athletic Association Event
On Saturday the San Francisco Gaelic Athletic Association event will take place at San Francisco Gaelic Fields on Treasure Island and require the closure of Avenue “H” between 11th and 13th streets from 7 a.m., Saturday until 6 p.m., Sunday.

The 108 Treasure Island Muni route will be affected.
