A teenage boy was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Monday night, police said.
The shooting was reported at 9:48 p.m. near Sunnydale Avenue and Britton Street SFPD said. (A look at a map suggests that the two streets appear not to intersect, so we called SFPD for clarification of the incident’s location, and will update when we hear back — EB)
The 15-year-old victim was walking in the area when he was shot.
He was taken to a hospital by an acquaintance, police said.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
