Yesterday wasn’t quite what was predicted for most of the day, if you were by the coast — Ocean Beach was grey as slate, and even Crissy Field still had clouds and fog at 2 that afternoon. But looking out my Outer Sunset window as I type this, I think that what I am about to tell you is true even for the West Side.
Today’s expected to be sunny, with a high near 85. The wind’s going to be blowing — expect rates of 13-16 mph, with gusts as high as 21. Get out your radar gun to be sure.
Tonight it’s expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 56. Wind will stay as it was during the day, and I feel confident in predicting that my neighbors will continue their campaign to irritate everyone else with those super screechy fireworks. You know the ones I’m talking about. Makes me want to throw an M-80 out the window and yell “now that’s a firework!” in a Crocodile Dundee voice.
Speaking of, Monday, which is Independence Day, is expected to be sunny but cooler than days past, with a high of 74. The wind’s expected to die down a lot, can you even feel a 5 mph breeze?
Monday night is supposed to be (I’m sorry!) cloudy, with a low of around 55. But who knows, this prediction could change tomorrow, and/or be completely wrong! Don’t lose firework display hope just yet.
