policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman who was shot in the back outside a San Francisco house party in the Mission District early Sunday morning is doing better and is no longer considered to have life threatening injuries, a San Francisco police officer said.

The woman was standing outside a house party near Folsom and 25th streets when she was shot at 2:30 a.m., police said.

Friends took the victim to nearby San Francisco General Hospital, where her injuries were considered to be life threatening, according to police.

Today her condition was upgraded, San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said.

There is still no suspect information as an investigation continues, Esparza said.
