policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man is suffering from life-threatening injuries following a stabbing in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was found at Harrison and Fourth streets just after 2 a.m. with several cuts to his throat, police said.

The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition as of 4 a.m., according to police.

San Francisco police describe the suspect as a black man in his 20s, who witnesses saw running away from the scene.

Investigators believe the suspect and the victim might have been arguing, which could have led to the stabbing, police said.
