A 25-year-old man approached a 36-year-old woman on the 3800 block of 22nd St. around 10pm and asked her for the time. He then reportedly grabbed her phone, punched her in the face, and fled the scene. No arrests have been made.

Crook says “forget it” when robbery lacks big payoff

Apparently it pays to be poor. A robber reportedly accosted a man at around 3:30am and demanded his possessions. When the victim said he had only a few dollars, the suspect simply said, “forget it” and left him alone.

No arrests have been made, although the victim said he’d be able to recognize the robber if they crossed paths again.
