salsa.jpgJackson Square is home to a bounty of antique stores and art galleries. Head to one of the most historic areas of San Francisco this Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8 for a fun opportunity to tour the area featuring six galleries with mini-lectures by dealers followed by a wine reception!

There is also a treasure hunt — take photos of your favorite art pieces of the night, upload it to facebook, and get a prize.

It’s a wonderful excuse to get a insider look at some of the amazing galleries along Jackson Square.

If art isn’t your thing, and you’d rather get movin’ and groovin’, head to Union Square instead for Jewels in the Square, a month-long series of free performances in Union Square Park.

This Wednesday is Salsa in the Square with Los Compas. Bandleader, arranger, trumpeter, accordionist, vocalist, and recording artist – Miguel Govea will be performing.
