sfpd_squad.jpgA woman was bit on the hand by another woman robbing a store in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood Wednesday evening, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 6:55 p.m. at a store near the intersection of Seventh and Howard streets.

The suspect, described only as a black woman in her late 30s or early 40s, entered the store and stole sunglasses and shoes, according to police.

The 22-year-old victim tried to confront the woman but was bit on the hand during an altercation with her, police said.

The suspect fled and had not been found as of this morning, according to police.

The victim was treated at the store for injuries caused by the bite and then released.
