sfpd_gunpoint.jpgA teenage boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Friday afternoon, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 3:45 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Shafter Avenue.

The 17-year-old boy was sitting on the porch of a home when he was shot. He ran into the home and called 911, and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to police.

Investigators believe there were two suspects involved in the shooting, but no arrests have been made in the case.
