sfpd_gunpoint.jpgA gas station in San Francisco’s Outer Mission neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 12:05 a.m. at an Arco am/pm station in the 5800 block of Mission Street.

A man went into the gas station’s convenience store, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded cash, according to police.

The 66-year-old employee gave the man money, and he fled from the store on foot, police said.

The man had not been found as of Wednesday afternoon, police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.
