shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was injured in a shooting near the University of San Francisco late Monday night, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 11:25 p.m. near the intersection of Turk Boulevard and Temescal Terrace.

The 22-year-old victim was sitting in his car when he was shot numerous times, according to police.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests have been made in the case, police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.
