SF Cabbie Bitch-Slaps Woman in NOPA
Around 2:30 AM, a woman called for a cab to pick her up at the corner of 9th Ave. and Irving St. When she entered the cab and couldn’t make up her mind on where to go, the cabbie stopped the car at Divisadero and Golden Gate and allegedly got out of the taxi and slapped her twice. “It was an open-palm strike,” Police Captain Denis O’Leary told SF Weekly.

Purse snatcher nabbed after ‘extreme parking’ episode in SF
Yesterday at around 3:30pm a man allegedly snatched a woman’s purse on the 5100 block of Diamond St. The man then allegedly tried to flee the scene in his car, only to flip it in a nearby front yard. The suspect, who was caught by SFPD, was recently released from prison after serving 38 years (you read that right). The woman’s purse was returned to her.

Dolores Park Robbery at Knife Point for a 12-Pack
A man was sitting in Dolores Park around 8:30pm on Wednesday when a man believed to be in his 20’s approached him and allegedly threatened the victim with a knife for a beer. The suspect then proceeded to take the man’s entire 12-pack and flee the scene. There were no reported injuries.
