5/15 12:21 AM: Two men died after being shot in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood Saturday evening, a police spokesman said.

At about 7:20 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting on 192 Appleton Ave., which is next to Holly Park, according to police Sgt. Mike Andraychak and a dispatcher at the San Francisco Fire Department.

Arriving crews found a 21-year-old man and a 26-year-old man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds and a 30-year-old man whose gunshot wounds were not believed to be life threatening, Andraychak said.

“The victims were found in the street and in a nearby courtyard,” he said.

The two men in their 20s died shortly after being taken to the hospital Saturday night, Andraychak said.

San Francisco police have detained multiple suspects in connection to the shooting.
More information about the shooting will be released later today, Andraychak said.

8:03 PM: Crews are responding to a shooting in the Bernal Heights neighborhood this evening, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

The shooting took place at about 7:30 p.m. near 192 Appleton Ave., which is on the edge of Holly Park, a dispatcher said.

Two people were reported having significant injuries from the shooting and one victim suffered minor injuries.
