The Roxie, a fixture of the Mission, is a great place to check out classic films for cheap prices. But Tuesday night, for one night only, The Roxie is putting away their projectors and working with local site Uptown Almanac to bring out the comics. Bring a date, bring a friend, and be prepared for a great time.
The usual price of $6.50 not only gets you in the door to see the show, but also buys you a night of free PBR. What more could a hipster ask for? Free beer and funny comedy… and at least if the comics disappoint, you know are guaranteed a good, drunken time.
And it’s for a good cause! Half of each ticket sale helps the historic independent theater stay open.
