Unless you do it every day to begin with, biking to work can be quite the feat. However physically strenuous, the task can have rewards for you and for your environment. Celebrate that beautiful unity of mind, body, and nature with the 17th Annual Bike to Work Day this Thursday during National Bike Month.

Bike to Work Day offers more than just free exercise: over 200 energizer stations will be scattered across the Bay Area (you can see San Francisco’s in the map above) for you to refuel with free food, coffee, and tote bags. There are lots of other events planned throughout the day, see them all here.

Although you don’t have to register on their website, it is highly encouraged. By registering with Bike to Work, you’ll be automatically entered into a raffle to win a new bike! Don’t have a job and still want to bike around? You can always register to volunteer.
