sfpd_gunpoint.jpgA 15-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood on Sunday evening, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 7:55 p.m. Sunday in the first block of Cashmere Street.

The teen was approached by two men in a blue four-door Ford, police said. The men shot at the boy, hitting him once in the foot.

The suspects then drove off and are still at large. Police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said there is no detailed description of them.

The boy was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injury, which is not considered life-threatening, police said.
