On Friday the monthly Critical Mass bicycle ride will leave from Justin Herman Plaza sometime after 6 p.m. Motorists and transit riders may be delayed as the bicycle ride passes. Roads will re-open as soon as bicyclists have passed.

Temporary Transbay Terminal Construction
Beginning 8 p.m., Friday and continuing until 7 a.m., Monday, May 9, construction work for the Transbay Terminal will require the closure of Harrison Street between 2nd Street and Essex Street.

The following detours will be in place:

Eastbound Harrison Street traffic will divert north on 2nd Street then east on Folsom Street. Bay Bridge traffic can then go south on Essex Street, and through traffic will continue from Folsom Street to 1st Street and back to Harrison.

Westbound Harrison Street traffic will divert north on Fremont Street, west on Howard, south on 2nd Street and back to Harrison Street. The 1st Street entrance to the Bay Bridge will remain open.

The 108 Treasure Island Muni bus route will be affected.

Directional signs will be in place and SFPD officers will monitor the closures for local access.

Access to the Essex Street Interstate 80 ramp will not be impacted.

Walk Against Rape
On Saturday at 11 a.m. the Walk Against Rape will begin from the Women’s Building at 18th and Lapidge streets and continue via Castro, Market, 16th, Mission, 24th and Utah streets to Potrero del Sol Park.

The curb lanes along the route will be used for the march. SFPD will monitor.

Glen Park Festival
On Sunday the Glen Park Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and require the following street closures from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.:

· Diamond Street from Bosworth Street to Chenery Street
· Wilder Street from Diamond Street to Carrie Street
· Kern Street from Brompton Avenue to Diamond Street

The following Muni routes will be affected:

· 36 Teresita
· 52 Excelsior

How Weird Street Faire
The annual How Weird Street Faire will be held Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Heavy pedestrian traffic is expected, and attendees are encouraged to take public transportation to the event.

The following street closures will be required from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

· Howard Street between 1st and 3rd streets
· 2nd Street between Mission and Folsom streets

The following Muni routes will be affected:

· 10 Townsend
· 12 Folsom Pacific
· 76 Marin Headlands

International Workers’ Day March
On Sunday the International Workers’ Day March will begin at 12 p.m. at Dolores Park. At approximately 2 p.m. the participants will proceed north on Dolores Street, east on Market Street and north on Polk Street to Civic Center Plaza. A rally will follow at 4 p.m.

SFPD officers will monitor for any necessary street closures.

· 21 Hayes
· 22 Fillmore
· 33 Stanyan
· 47 Van Ness
· 49 Van Ness/Mission
· 71 Haight/Noriega
