monopoly_money.jpgA bank was robbed near Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco on Thursday afternoon, police said today.

The robbery was reported at about 3:50 p.m. in the 200 block of Winston Drive, according to police.

The suspect walked into the bank and approached a teller. He told the employee he had a weapon, but no weapon was seen, police said.

The suspect demanded cash and the teller complied, and the suspect fled from the bank on foot with the money, according to police.

The bank employee was uninjured in the robbery.

The suspect, described only as a man in his mid 20s, had not been found as of this morning, police said.
