A man was carjacked while stopped at a red light on San Francisco’s Van Ness Avenue early this morning, police said.
The carjacking was reported at about 1:45 a.m. at Van Ness Avenue and Clay Street, according to police.
The 26-year-old victim stopped his white 2005 Cadillac Deville at the intersection and was approached by a man who opened the driver’s side door, police said.
The suspect pulled the victim out of the car and threw him to the ground, then got in the Cadillac and fled, according to police.
The victim was not injured in the robbery.
The suspect, described only as a Hispanic man in his 30s, has not been found, and neither has the stolen car, police said.
