sfpd_gunpoint.jpgA bank in San Francisco’s Financial District was robbed on Wednesday afternoon, police said today.

The robbery was reported at about 4:05 p.m. at a bank in the 200 block of Bush Street.

A male suspect walked into the bank and approached a teller, then simulated that he had a gun in his pocket and demanded money, although no gun was seen, police said.

The teller complied, giving the robber an undisclosed amount of cash, and he then fled on foot, according to police.

No arrests have been made in the case, and police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
