sffd_firefighters.jpg8:57 PM: Firefighters quickly put out a one-alarm structure fire that began in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this evening, a dispatcher said.

About four fire engines and two trucks responded to reports of a fire on Moss Street near 7th and Howard streets at about 6:20 p.m., a dispatcher at the San Francisco Fire Department said.

The fire was put out by 6:50 p.m. and no injuries were reported, the dispatcher said.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze. A damage estimate wasn’t immediately available.

6:57 PM: Firefighters are responding to a one-alarm structure fire in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this evening, a dispatcher said.

Crews responded to reports of a blaze near 12th and Howard streets at about 6:20 p.m., according to the San Francisco Fire Department.

No injuries have been reported. Firefighters were still battling the fire as of 6:40 p.m., the dispatcher said.

No other information was immediately available.
