police-light-bar1.jpgSan Francisco police are investigating a New York woman for suspicion of driving under the influence after she crashed her car into a San Francisco Municipal Railway boarding platform this morning, officials said.

The woman, in her late 20s, rolled over a gray four-door sedan near 31st Avenue and Judah Street at about 3:20 a.m. after striking the Muni platform, police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.

Her passenger, a woman in her late 20s, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital’s trauma center after suffering injuries, San Francisco Fire Department Capt. Tony Dumont said.

Her injuries were not life-threatening, Andraychak said.

No other injuries were reported, Dumont said.

The identities of the women involved have not been released.
