sfpd_squad.jpgA man was pushed to the ground and had his laptop and wallet stolen in a robbery in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood early this morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at about 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of Fifth and Harrison streets, according to police.

The 37-year-old victim was walking along the street when the suspect approached him from behind and pushed him to the ground, police said.

The suspect took the victim’s laptop and wallet before fleeing on foot. No weapon was seen during the course of the robbery, according to police.

No arrests have been made in the case and a detailed suspect description was not immediately available.
