5:01 PM: A motorcycle that crashed on the Bay Bridge this afternoon and blocked traffic for about an hour has been cleared from eastbound lanes, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at around 3:45 p.m. and blocked two eastbound middle lanes, CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.
The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries, Bartlett said.
It did not appear that another vehicle was a factor in the crash, Bartlett said.
A Sig-alert had been issued at 4:20 p.m. and was canceled at 4:43 p.m., when the roadway was cleared, Bartlett said.
4:41 PM: A motorcycle crash is blocking two lanes of eastbound traffic on the Bay Bridge this afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at around 3:45 p.m., CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.
The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and two middle lanes are blocked as the crash is cleared.
A Sig-alert was issued at 4:20 p.m., and Bartlett said the CHP estimates that the lanes could reopen by 4:45 p.m.
