An 81-year-old woman was hospitalized with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in San Francisco’s Mission District Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The woman was hit at 17th and Guerrero Streets at about 3:30 p.m., according to police.
Police said the woman had been walking in a crosswalk at the intersection when the driver of a vehicle turned left on a green light and struck her.
The woman suffered serious head trauma, police said. An update on her condition was not immediately available today.
The driver was not arrested.
