bart_generic1.jpgFebruary is full of all sorts of exciting holidays: Valentine’s and/or Singles Awareness Day, Superbowl Sunday, every once in a while that really cool leap day, and two holidays BART is extending or changing service for. Make a note of this, even as you prepare to catch BART in their new West Dublin/Pleasanton station, opening Saturday!

Saturday is also the day of SF’s Chinese New Year Parade, so BART will be running longer trains and more of them. The Parade starts at 5pm on 2nd and Market, then loops around Geary and Powell, ending at Columbus and Kearny. If you want to catch the parade, which of course you do, make sure to exit at either the Montgomery or Powell station.

Then Monday is Presidents’ Day, which means BART will be operating on a Saturday schedule.

Got questions about a specific station? BART’s got answers, via their customer service numbers or on their site.
