Friday Night at the De Young
The first of the 2011 series Friday Nights at the De Young is starting with off on the right foot with a taste of absinthe and a lecture on the history of the famed green drink. Also enjoy music from “filthy, mangy jazz” (their words, not mine) band Le Chat Lunatique who describes their music as making “you want to smoke and drink too much–if only you could get off the dance floor.” Admission if free, it all starts at 5 PM.
