manning.jpgActivists held a sit-in today outside the San Francisco home of U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein to protest the treatment of a man being charged with disclosing classified information to the website WikiLeaks–and the group plans to hold a rally and news conference on the Golden Gate Bridge at noon.

Members of the grassroots peace and social justice movement organization CODEPINK were stationed outside Feinstein’s Lyon Street home at 9:30 a.m. to protest the “inhumane” treatment of Pfc. Bradley Manning, according to a CODEPINK release.

Manning is being held at the Marine Corps base at Quantico, Va.CODEPINK also plans to address the continued operation of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.
