Police said Phillip Trettin, 50, of San Francisco, was arrested outside a bank in the 4600 block of Mission Street at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday after allegedly handing a female teller a note demanding money and leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Trettin, who police said was nabbed just as arriving officers pulled up to the bank, was booked into San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of robbery and burglary.

On Tuesday, a bank in the 3500 block of California Street was robbed at about 2:45 p.m. by a suspect who entered and demanded money, according to police.

The suspect, Lenard Lablanc, 49, of San Francisco, was arrested a block away near the intersection of Sacramento and Locust streets, police said.

Lablanc was booked on suspicion of two counts of robbery, police said.
