gavingiants.jpgSan Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom swore in several new and reappointed city board members and commissioners Tuesday.

In what he said would be his last public swearing-in ceremony as mayor, Newsom made 12 official appointments. Newsom will become lieutenant governor of California in January.

Dorka Keehn and Kimberlee Stryker were appointed to the city’s Arts Commission; Edwin Berkowitz and Victoria Johnston to the Asian Art Museum Commission; Ken Cleaveland and Arnold Laub to the Finance Corp.; and John Moylan to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District.

Additionally, Stephen Revetria was appointed to the Golden Gate Park Concourse Authority; Paula Mulhall to the Graffiti Advisory Board; Dorothy Smith to the Housing Authority Commission; Steve Adams to the Small Business Commission; and Brigette LeBlanc to the Southeast Community Facility Commission.
