Police spokesman Sgt. Mike Andraychak said the driver of a white Hyundai had just exited a parking lot in the 900 block of Taraval Street, near 20th Avenue, when the car collided with a motorcyclist traveling west on Taraval.

The crash was reported just after 11 a.m.

Andraychak said the motorcyclist, a 42-year-old Fremont man, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The Hyundai driver, a 52-year-old San Francisco man, was unhurt, he said.

The L-Taraval line was briefly shut down in that area but reopened just after 11:30 a.m., Andraychak said.

Neither driver was arrested or cited in the crash, Andraychak said.
