sfpd_squad.jpgSan Francisco homicide investigators now believe the death of a 62-year-old man found in the street in the Tenderloin last month was accidental, a police spokesman said today.

Police found Raymond Leong, of San Francisco, lying in the 1000 block of Geary Street at about 8 a.m. on Nov. 20. He was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

Police had originally classified the death as a possible homicide.

Though the medical examiner’s office hasn’t yet determined an official cause of death, investigators now believe Leong accidentally fell in the street, Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.
