shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was shot in San Francisco’s Mission District late Tuesday night and is expected to survive, a police spokesman said.

The shooting occurred at about 11 p.m., when one man was shot on Mission Street between 16th and 17th streets, San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said.

The 22-year-old victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening, Esparza said.

Police said the suspects are two Hispanic men in their early 20s, but no one was in custody as of 12:30 a.m.
