A man was found dead by police this evening in an SUV found parked in Novato, according to the CHP.
At about 5 p.m., police responded to a reports a possible dead person in a parked car at the California Park and Ride facility–where people park cars and then take public transportation–near the intersections of Atherton Avenue and Binford Road.
Responding officers found a man dead in the backseat of a 2001 Chevrolet SUV. He was estimated to be 50 years old.
The Marin CHP is investigating the cause of the man’s death.
