I read in an answer to a previous question about the collected compost that is hauled off to Jepson Prairie Organics. That does not tell me what happens to the compost after it is delivered. How is it used? Thanks.
Ron Hurst, a sales manager for Jepson Prairie Organics, told me that most of their SF-originating compost goes to vineyards. “We also sell to orchards, organic farms, grain crop farmers, and landscape supply yards,” he said.
Any other questions? Let me know!
