BlueAngel.jpgReaders from SoMa to North Beach just alerted us that the Blue Angels, scheduled to start practice for Fleet Week festivities at 1 today, have hit our skies right on schedule.

“Just heard the Blue Angels. I feel good about my taxpayer dollars!” said L, and T says “Blue Angels! Over the bay bridge right now.”

Oh! I just heard them in the Outer Sunset, too. I forgot how loud they are, man! Good thing my dog’s nearly deaf, she used to hate those guys. Update: She’s not a deaf as we thought, she is FREAKING OUT.

So, no, that sounds not the world coming to an end (probably), it’s just (warning very irritating audio) the Blue Angels.

For a full calendar of Fleet Week activities, here you go.
