obamamb.jpgCBS5 is reporting that Barack Obama will be spending the night in SF this Thursday.

The White House says that Obama would be speaking at local fundraising events for the Democratic National Committee and for CA Attorney General hopeful (and current SF District Attorney) Kamala Harris. Hmm. Guess our invitations to those events got lost in the mail.

According to Obama’s tentative schedule. Air Force One is scheduled to arrive at SFO Thursday at 3 PM and to leave Friday morning.

This is his first visit to SF since May, but the president has made another recent local connection — he’ll also be appearing in an episode of locally-produced TV show Mythbusters on December 8.

“I didn’t get to blow anything up… I was a little frustrated about that” Obama said regarding his appearance on the show.
