9:52 AM: A major-injury accident involving a motorcyclist briefly disrupted traffic near the Golden Gate Bridge this morning, a California Highway Patrol sergeant said.
The accident was reported at about 8:50 a.m. on U.S. Highway 101 just south of the bridge’s toll plaza.
Traffic in both directions was disrupted as emergency crews responded to the scene, CHP Sgt. John Carman said.
Lanes were cleared shortly after 9:30 a.m.
