police-light-bar1.jpgFour women ransacked a San Francisco beauty supply store on Saturday afternoon and attacked two workers, one with pepper spray, police said.

The incident occurred just before 2 p.m. at the Sally Beauty Supply store at 2675 Geary Blvd.

Clerks believed the four women, who all appeared to be between 18 and 25 years of age, had been shoplifting and began watching them, infuriating the women and touching off a physical altercation, police said.

During the fight, a female worker was sprayed with pepper spray and another was cut on her arm, according to police.

The four women then allegedly robbed the store and fled in a car, believed to be a gold Chrysler, police said.

Both workers were treated for their injuries at the scene.

A woman who answered the phone at the store this morning confirmed the robbery, but said she could not comment further.
