7:05 AM: According to SFPD, Two manhole covers at Montgomery and Sutter exploded, resulting in flames and smoke. The incident was handled by PG&E. No injuries reported.
5:35 PM: Two women were reportedly approached by three other women, at the corner of Sunnydale and Hahn. An argument led to a physical assault, during which one of the suspects allegedly hit the victims with her high heeled shoe. The three suspects then reportedly robbed the two victims and escaped. No arrests made.
9:15 PM: A man was standing on the Muni platform at 3rd St. and Jamestown when a male suspect reportedly kicked his legs, robbed him, and fled on foot. No arrests.
10:35 PM: A five year old girl was playing at a playground at the 800 block of Pacific Avenue when she was allegedly shot in the thigh. The suspects involved were four males and three females. The young girl was taken to the hospital, where they said she had sustained a non-life threatening injury. Suspects have been arrested.
11:00 PM: A man was waiting for the Muni at Mission and 24th when 3 male suspects allegedly approached and jumped him, then fled on foot. The victim walked to the hospital when he realized his back was bleeding. No arrests.
11:19 PM: A man was smoking a cigarette at 46th and Lincoln, when three unknown suspects approached him. One suspect reportedly stabbed the man in the back, then all three fled the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The victim was unable to give any descriptions, and no arrests made.
1:25 AM: A male motorcyclist was traveling west bound at Oakdale St. and Toland Ave., when he reportedly drove into an oncoming lane to pass a slower vehicle. The motorcycle was struck by another vehicle, which was allegedly traveling east bound. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
3:21 AM: A man was waiting for the Muni at Roanoke and Arlington when he was reportedly approached by two suspects, one of whom struck the victim with a baseball bat. Both fled on foot. The victim was hospitalized with injuries. No arrests.
Unknown Time: A reportedly impaired driver in an SUV allegedly ran a stop sign at 40th Ave. and Cabrillo, colliding with another vehicle, critically injuring the female driver. The woman was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Arrests were made.
2:22 PM: A man was leaving a smoke shop at Brussels and Dwight, when he was was reportedly approached by two men who requested a ride. The man agreed and drove them to their destination, at which point one of the suspects in the backseat, allegedly pulled a gun on the driver and demanded money. The suspects then left the vehicle and fled on food. They remain at large.
4:45 PM: Two females who reportedly knew other were involved in an argument that started over the phone, and allegedly became physical at the Unit Block of Sears St. One female reportedly cut the other one, who was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The assailant was arrested.
6:21 PM: A vehicle was traveling through the Geary and Larkin intersection when a male pedestrian crossed the intersection during a red, “do-not walk” signal. The man was struck by the vehicle. The driver stayed at the scene and the victim was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
7:07 PM: A woman was waking through De Haro St. and Southern Heights when a man reportedly approached her, grabbed her purse, roughly knocked her to the ground, and threatened to shoot her. He then escaped in a Blue Sedan, driven by a second suspect. The victim allegedly refused medical assistance. No arrests.
11:02 PM: Two men had finished unloading their vehicle at the 400 block of Girard, when three men reportedly approached them, simulated having guns in their waistbands, and demanded that they give them their property. Then they allegedly ordered the victims into their home, where they robbed them of various items. The suspects fled the residence. No arrests.
2:05 AM: A female was walking through the 1900 block of Union St., when another female reportedly stole her purse, and escaped in a white sedan. No arrests.
3:07 AM: A female was reportedly struck by a vehicle at the 600 block of Harrison St., when she allegedly ran across the street during traffic. The driver stayed at the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
