Wednesday, 9/15/10

3:45pm: A man was in his downstairs apartment on the 100 block of Tioga Ave. when he heard a loud noise. The man opened his bedroom door and reportedly saw two people in the living room. The two people then allegedly pushed the man, then ransacked the house. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

6:40pm: A woman met a man on the 200 block Valencia St. The man reportedly punched her in the face, then stole her money. The man then fled on foot. There were no injuries and no arrests have been made.

8:22pm: A woman was on the corner of 5th and Jessie St. when a man approached her from behind and reportedly stole her phone. There were no injuries and no arrests have been made.

8:40pm: A man was on the 100 block of Leavenworth St. when another man reportedly grabbed his shirt, shook him, and stole things from the victim’s pockets. There were no arrests and no injuries reported.

Thursday, 9/16/10

12:01am: A woman was walking on the 2200 block of 18th St. when a man approached her from behind and reportedly stabbed her in the neck. The man then reportedly stole her purse and fled the scene. No arrests have been made and there was one injury.

12:37am: A man was walking on the 1300 block of Howard St. when two men approached him. The men then reportedly hit the victim in the back of the head and stole his property. No arrests have been made and there was one non-life threatening injury.

2:00am: A man was working on the 100 block of Valencia St. when another man reportedly punched through a window. When the victim confronted the man, the man reportedly struck the victim in the face and hand with a bike lock. Officers arrived shortly and took the suspect into custody. One arrest has been made and there was one non-life threatening injury.

2:00am: A man reportedly got into an argument with another man on the corner of North Point and Leavenworth St. The suspect then reportedly grabbed a sign board and hit the man on the right forearm. No arrests have been made and there was one non-life threatening injury.

2:40am: A man reportedly robbed another man at knifepoint on the corner of 19th and Collingwood St. The victim reportedly blew a whistle, which scared the other man away. An arrest has been made and there were no injuries.

3:20am: A vehicle with four occupants was driving near the corner of Richardson and Lombard when it reportedly lost control, flipped over, and struck another vehicle with four occupants traveling in the opposite direction. All four in the first vehicle sustained injuries. The driver of that vehicle is being investigated for a possible DUI.

6:12pm: A man was walking near the corner of Anza and Wood St. when two men reportedly approached him from behind and robbed the man at gunpoint. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

8:30pm: A woman was standing near a Muni platform on the corner of San Jose St. and Geneva Ave. when a man reportedly pushed her, then stole her cell phone. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

8:52pm: A man was walking in a parking lot on the 100 block of Claire Terrace when four men approached him and reportedly robbed him at gunpoint. The victim gave one of the men his wallet and the man then reportedly punched the victim in the face. No arrests have been made and there was one non-life threatening injury.

10:00pm: While walking near the corner of Keith St. and Newcomb Ave. a man noticed another man putting on a ski mask. The victim crossed the street, only to have the other man follow him. The man then reportedly robbed the victim at gunpoint. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

10:14pm: A man was walking near the corner of Guerrero and Market St. when another man reportedly ran by and stole his cell phone. The victim gave chase but lost the man. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

10:38pm: A man was walking near 19th and Capp St. when another man approached him and reportedly demanded he empty his pockets. The victim refused to comply and was then reportedly attacked by the other man. The victim sustained a cut to his left hand and the man then fled in a black vehicle. No arrests have been made and there was one non-life threatening injury.

11:35pm: A woman was walking near the corner of 25th and Bartlett St. when she was reportedly approached from behind by a man who then stole her purse. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

Friday, 9/17/10

12:15am: A woman reportedly got in an argument with another woman between Sunnydale Ave. and Velasco Ave. when she was punched in the face by the other woman. The other woman then reportedly brandished a handgun. The victim walked away but left her purse at the scene, which was reportedly stolen. No arrests have been made and there were minor injuries.

12:30am: A man reportedly got into an argument with another man on the corner of Columbus Ave. and Mason St. when he was pushed to the ground by the other man. The suspect then allegedly brandished a weapon and stabbed the man two times. Officers then responded. One arrest has been made and there were non-life threatening injuries.

2:20am: A man was waiting at a Muni bus stop on the corner of Mission St. and Cortland Ave. when two men reportedly approached him, shoved him, then stole his backpack. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

2:45am: A woman got into a man’s car for a ride home when the man stopped at 17th and Mission St. and reportedly told the woman to be his prostitute. The woman refused and the man allegedly slapped her, then brandished a handgun. The suspect then reportedly stole the woman’s purse and the woman ran out of the vehicle, fleeing on foot. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.
